Lost my brother to suicide after the dot com crash, lost my home and life savings as a result of the 2007 clusterf*ck.

Great post! And welcome!

Dear Sarah. Thank you for reading my thread and the kind words of welcome and encouragement.
I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of your brother, your home and life savings.
I guess we all know who created the housing bubble. Have you viewed the Frontline documentary, "The Warning?" It should be required viewing for every American.

fibonacci is such cool stuff

When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing

When you see that men get rich more easily by graft than by work, and your laws no longer protect you against them, but protect them against you

You may know that your society is doomed

I´m very sorry to hear that.

Me too, and welcome to ION FG.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

Wow.

I agree, everyone should watch that.

Imagine how differently things might have gone had they not cut her off at the knees.

So Scruff sends emails to all the new guys about who is cool and who is not on here??? According to him?. Funny, The best advice I got in the millitary at my first station was when A Chief told me."be carefull of the first guy that gets your ear on here and wants to tell you who to "watch out" for, its not to your benefit"
watch out for me buddy!!!...I like truth or at least keep it close, or at least keep it "open" if not...im an Asshole if not!
Other than that...Welcome aboard! This has to be the best place by far! Even with me here.
