 Papyrus discovery suggests Jesus married
Papyrus discovery suggests Jesus married

A previously unknown scrap of ancient papyrus written in ancient Egyptian Coptic includes the words: "Jesus said to them, my wife," - a discovery likely to renew a fierce debate in the Christian world over whether Jesus was married

Prediction: in the next 3 years "proof will be found" of a corpse/skeletal remains that is Jesus.
There is nothing more coveted than to destroy the mystical purity, single-mindedness and purpose of Christ.
(No care to eliminate the buddha or krishna or expose m*&^%%$#)

Speaking of Plato's cave--An amazing story:
the sweetest of all mystical beings comes to manifest the source/power of love to the idiots.
Like a parent who remains gentle with a ranting two year-old, like a mother who remains calm when her baby is yelling or pouting, every story of Christ was of gentle wisdom and complete confidence. "Here are all the secrets" he said. "forgive them" as they Yanked Out his Beard Hair!

except one time:
The only story of Jesus getting really really angry and using violence was with the MoneyChangers, who were violating the spirit of peace and truth and tricking the people with Money and Greed.

(The time is ripe to bring on the biggest lie. Shut those
right-n-wrongers UP. Get rid of that Jesus.)

One of his students asked Buddha, "Are you the messiah?"
"No", answered Buddha.
"Then are you a healer?"
"No", Buddha replied.
"Then are you a teacher?" the student persisted.
"No, I am not a teacher."
"Then what are you?" asked the student, exasperated.
"I am awake", Buddha replied

In a world older and more complete than ours, animals move finished and complete, gifted with extension of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren; they are not underlings; they are other nations, caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendor and travail of the earth. ~Henry Beston

Written a hundred years after the man lived.

Maybe he was a celibate Essene for all we know.

Correction, the papyrus was written over three hundred years after the man supposedly lived.

Hardly proof positive, for what it is worth.

But whether He was ever married does not necessarily seem that important to me.

(Not nearly as important as, say, my own marriage.)

I read your first post and the article.

There was no vid.

What are you talking about?

how does it relate to what I said?

This new Coptic "gospel" of from the fourth century.

Hardly proof of Christ's marriage, unless one has an axe to grind.

It's unfortunate they don't focus on what he taught rather than whether or not he was married, had brothers and/or sisters, etc.

For one thing, He was crucified because He dared to teach people to use His Father's Name, which is YAHWEH (English transliteration).

A pox on those who have changed the words of Scripture ... Changed the Messiah's Name of Yahshua (English transliteration) to "Jesus" ... changed the Sabbath to "Sunday", etc.
